Dollar ReDe$ign Project is up and running, open to all of those who have a good idea how to redesign the USD. I’m sure it will never come to life, but still, check this awesome redesign by Downling Duncan design studio.

Regarding one of the previous posts America in color from 1940’s – this is even more amazing. Photographer Sergei Mikhailovich Prokudin-Gorskii (1863-1944) undertook a photographic survey of the Russian Empire with the support of Tsar Nicholas II from 1910-1912. Unbelievably beautiful.
